IHS 5 – Completing for non-completers



In my last post I wrote about the natural completers. Today we look at those who are not natural completers. For some hearing the idea that it is OK not to be good at finishing tasks would be a shock. People who are not natural completers have other talents, which are good for them. For those of you who are not natural completers here are some tips that might help you finish tasks.

The first tool is to arrange some outside accountability. By this I mean have something that will hold you accountable to get a particular task finished. Some people need pressure to finish things. When we can’t natural provide this for ourselves, finding another way to bring that pressure can help. This might be a person or even a reminder on a phone (maybe a few reminders lined up?).
